Simultaneous Thermal Analysis:
In our Simultaneous Thermal Analysis Lab we analyze simultaneously Thermogravimetry (TG, TGA) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) or Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) of the same sample. In STA, the test conditions are perfectly identical for the TGA and DTA/DSC signals (same atmosphere, gas flow rate, heating rate, thermal contact to the sample crucible and sensor, etc.).
Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer STA 449 F5 Jupiter coupling with Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer QMS 403 Aeolos Quadro:
The 403 Aëolos Quadro quadrupole mass spectrometer has a heated capillary inlet system for routine analysis of gases and, in particular, volatile decomposition products of thermal analysis. Mass range is from 1 u to 300 u(*). The QMS 403 Aeolos Quadro detects gases evolved during heating, providing molecular identification based on mass-to-charge ratio (m/z).
Differential scanning calorimeter DSC 300 Caliris Supreme:
The DSC 300 Caliris® Supreme is a differential scanning calorimeter developed by NETZSCH, designed to provide precise measurements of thermal effects in materials. This instrument is particularly valuable in research and development, quality control, and material specification across various industries. The instrument has a modular platform, allowing users to interchange sensor-furnace modules to adapt to different testing requirements. This design offers flexibility and future-proofing, enabling the instrument to cover a broad temperature range from -150°C to 600°C.
NETZSCH STA 449 F3 Jupiter:
This instrument combines both differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry (TGA) techniques in one unit, allowing a comprehensive analysis of thermal and mass properties. Temperature analysis ranges from 30 to 1600°С, with coupling to IR uint for evolved gas analysis. It is used for compositional analysis, decomposition temperatures, flammability studies, oxidative and thermal stabilities, etc.
Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (STA) 6000:
The small furnace enables accurate temperature control, minimizes the time to achieve a pure gas environment and allows for the fastest cool down/turnaround times. Temperature analysis ranges from 15 to 800°С. Simultaneous analysis of TG with DTA mode and DSC mode for fast enhanced result interpretation.
Sample preparation equipment
Ultra-Microbalance Mettler Toledo XPR6U
An ultra-microbalance is a microbalance with 7 decimal place readability used for sample preparation for TGA/DSC experiments. The weight capacity is up to 6.1 g and a minimum sample weight of just 30 µg (0.03 mg).
